Anthony
Finance/Accounting Intern
Hi! My name is Anthony. I am originally from Hong Kong and I came to Fargo as an exchange student in high school. I am now a junior in Minnesota State University Moorhead majoring Economics and Finance. I keep track of the finances at Unseen and contribute ideas of fundraising. I love traveling and outdoor activities. Swimming, hiking, mountain biking are my favorites.
Danielle
Communications Intern
Hey hey I’m Danielle! I’m from Forest Lake, Minnesota and I attend North Dakota State University where I’m majoring in Public Relations and Advertising. I’m the communications intern here at Unseen where I’m put in charge of updating and keeping tabs on Unseen’s social media. I also look for new, unique and creative ways to boost our media exposure. I just retired from collegiate soccer playing all four years at NDSU. I miss it dearly but still love the sport and play it every chance I get. I also love reading, going on adventures with my fiancé, laughing with friends, longboarding, snowboarding and spreading God’s amazing love with everyone!
Dan
Video Editor
Dan is a wild soul who enjoys action, adventure, comic and science fiction/fantasy films, as well as producing short films with friends, and is involved in his church and community. He is studying Film Production at Minnesota State University Moorhead. He graduated from Park Christian School in Moorhead, MN where he filmed, directed and edited a piece for the Ford Focus on Schools Competition that placed 1st out of over 200 schools and landed PCS a $11,000 scholarship. During the last couple of summers, he has spent his time working at a Bible Camp in North Dakota as the videographer. He enjoys being at Unseen Ministries where he is able to expand his video skills in a Christian environment where he has the opportunity to work with groups that are changing the world.

What is your role here at Unseen?
I am the Volunteer Coordinator.
How do you personally connect to Unseen’s mission?
I love people. I love Jesus. I love people who love Jesus. It is such an honor to help people out of horrible situations like human trafficking, poverty, and those who are orphaned. It is something we are called to do as followers of Christ, help one another. I love that Unseen Ministries literally goes to the ends of the earth to show people how much they are loved.
Who is a hero of yours and why?
Mother Teresa (Mama T). She was a woman of God who literally would drop everything to go where she felt God was calling her to be. She was the definition of selfless; she lived her lives for others. I aspire to be half as inspiring as her.
What is one of the best experiences you have ever had?
I would have to say one of my all-time favorite moments, was a mission trip I took to Guatemala when I was 17 years old. God opened my eyes a lot on that trip. I saw people choosing to be happy despite their circumstances. That is the definition of joy (which is also my middle name, literally).
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a Giraffe. They walk around in the wild all day, live among the trees, are beautiful, and eat leaves. I love lettuce, veggies, salad…anything green (well, not anything). One of my life goals is to hang out with a giraffe in the wild. If I could actually be one? Even better!

What is your role here at Unseen?
I manage Unseen’s posts on all the social networking sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc. So I’m pretty much the online bum!
How do you personally connect to Unseen’s mission?
Each and every day is a blessing at Unseen. Even in doing seemingly ‘small’ daily tasks, we are working to make a difference in the lives of others, such as the missionaries who devote themselves to victims of poverty and human trafficking.
Who is a hero of yours and why?
My friends and family are the most inspiring people in my life. They are continually encouraging me and I am so thankful for them.
What is one of the best experiences you have ever had?
The missions work I have done in Guatemala and El Salvador was filled with the most life changing experiences, forever shifting my outlook on life and God’s abundant blessings.
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
I would be a dog because they seem to be having fun all the time.

What is your role here at Unseen?
I am the Events Intern.
How do you personally connect to Unseen’s mission?
I create and organize events that allow people to hear about Unseen and the work God is doing in the world, these events also allow individuals to get involved and offer their time and support. It’s neat to be a small part of the big things that God is doing.
Who is a hero of yours and why?
Tanya Martineau! Tanya takes the time to listen to me when I need to chat, encourages me in my walk with the Lord, reminds me that He gave me these gifts for a reason, and tells me that I am loved. Her encouragement makes my job easier. She is a role model and friend. Tanya also gives GREAT hugs!
What is one of the best experiences you have ever had?
Studying abroad in France for nearly 6 months last year. I didn’t speak French very well when I arrived and improved a lot while I was there. I went to a church that welcomed me in like I belonged. God taught me a lot about His faithfulness while I was there. He was the only one who could ever understand how difficult it was, and He was there. He held my hand when I couldn’t talk to my friends because of the time difference. He showed me what it means to fully rely on Him. God reminded me how much He loves me and taught me a lot in the difficult times.
If you could be any animal, what would you be and why?
After this long winter, I think I decided anytime someone asked me this question I would say a bear. Why? Because bears get to hibernate in the winter and then I would have missed the cold weather and all the snow in April!
Some pretty amazing ladies, right? If you are interested in interning with Unseen, we are accepting applications for Season 5 Internships (Summer 2013), now through May 11th!
