Surprise Intern Photo Shoot!

Unseen Ministries loves helping college students take what they’ve been learning in the classroom and to apply it to the real world. We are so blessed with all their hard work that we decided to surprise them with a fun photo shoot so that they could have some professional pictures in the Intern section of our website!

Anthony Lau had the honor of becoming Unseen’s very first intern! Originally from Hong Kong, Anthony has been a huge help with our finances and making sure we all stay out of jail. Kidding! During the shoot, we decided to throw paper all around him to create a “paper storm”—everyday Anthony comes in, he is swarmed with seemingly endless amounts of checks, bills and receipts, but he handles it like a true champ—calm and very professional.

When asked what he loves about his job, Anthony replied, “I get to apply what I do in the classrooms to the real world and love that I get to use it to further the Kingdom of God!”

Preparing the props! :)

The next intern to join our staff is the great Dan Runck, our video intern. With a keen eye and an excellent work mentality, Dan has proven to be an amazing part of the Unseen team by producing outstanding work. His hilarious personality has definitely given us some great laughs at the office—just ask him to do his “grandpa voice.” We truly felt this shoot captured his unique personality.  We decided to just throw as many props on him as we could. The result, as you can see, was perfect.

When asked what he loves about his job, Dan replied, “It’s pretty cool that I get to be a part of something world-changing. It’s kind of sinking in slowly how big this is, and how many people this organization is impacting. And I love working in a Christian environment.”

Thumbs up for videography!

Our most recent intern, Danielle Boldenow joined our staff in late November after she finished her final collegiate soccer season before graduation. With her outgoing personality and knack for social media, she’s been extending Unseen’s social networking and has been very successful. We had a hard time finding props for Danielle, but when she got in front of the camera and started shouting and whipping her hair, we captured just how she communicates to the world—with an intensity that matches her play on the soccer field.

When asked what she loves about her job, Danielle replied, “I absolutely love that what we do is truly all for our God. It’s incredible seeing how much Jesus has done for us and is continuing to do each and every day. I wouldn’t be satisfied interning anywhere else.”
